Scrutton Street Closing Party – Venue Change
Thursday 26th August 2010 by foe
We have some good news and some bad news to announce for our event on Saturday…..
For some reason Hackney Council have decided to issue a ‘Stop Notice’ for our warehouse, meaning events can no longer carry on there, even for the last weekend. We have tried to contest this issue, but unfortunately there is nothing we can do.
The good news is, we have managed to transfer the event to the CAMP basement on City Road, which is just around the corner. It’s a little smaller, and we have to close slightly earlier – but the main thing for us is that this event goes ahead in some capacity. Also CAMP is almost a warehouse, so it makes sense for us to keep it going there.
We have more good news!
Chrome Hoof co-founder, Milo Smee has put together an incredible 45 min mix for Saturdays event. Milo produces under the guises of Kurton and Binary Chaffinch for labels such as UXB, Dissident, Im a Cliche and DC (to name but a few) and this mix showcases his broad taste in music. Check his Soundcloud page for more.

Ah shame to say goodbye to that place without actually being there. But Hell Yeh to the party still going ahead, and in a great venue too!
Well done dollop!
